Why New Mind Ministry?

Do you ever catch yourself thinking, in a moment of frustration, "What is going on in the world today? How could people BE so foolish?"

The Bible is clear that the "...wages of sin is death..." and "...fools despise wisdom and instruction." (Romans 6:23, Proverbs 1:7) The Word shows us that people who reject God's wisdom will profess to be wise but actually be fools (Romans 1:21, 22). Despite these facts, we are often left puzzled as to why society is the way it is, and more importantly, how we should live in the midst of such rebellion.

New Mind Ministry is committed to helping you make sense of the world from God's point of view, and helping you live a God-honoring life in the middle of a decaying world. Our wonderful God and Savior, Jesus Christ, has all wisdom. He has promised to bring wisdom when we commit ourselves to Him (Psalm 51:6)

And do not be conformed to his world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, that you may prove what is that good and acceptable and perfect will of God. ~ Romans 12:2 (NKJV)

You present your body; you demonstrate faithfulness, and the Spirit of Jesus renews your mind. That process goes deep, and it affects all areas of life, not just a few, narrow "hot button" issues. God has called us to help you see more clearly what that's all about.

To be equipped to do the work of ministry (Ephesians 4:12), the children of God need training to recognize false philosophies, to explain from Scripture why they are false, and to train their children to do the same. If the church does not do that, should we be surprised when we lose hundreds of our young people to the world? Should we be surprised when we see so many marriages breaking up? Should we be shocked when we hear the people in our neighborhoods say, "Why should I go to church? The people there are no different from anyone else."
